Michael Patrick
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Michael’s involvement with retail spans more than 25 years, having held positions in management, merchandising, and human resources before joining MOHR Retail’s predecessor, a premier training & consulting firm, in 1986. Four years later, he purchased the retail division of that firm, and formed what has grown to be today’s MOHR Retail.
Michael holds true to his retail roots by providing training that changes behavior now and over the long haul—providing both immediate and lasting business impact.
In addition to facilitating any of the programs regularly offered by MOHR, Michael offers executive-level coaching in more intimate, one-on-one sessions dealing with critical strategic issues such as succession strategies and executive team development.
Whether in management, leadership, negotiation, sales or service, retailers around the country who’ve worked with Michael have experienced the difference of training with someone who knows the retail industry and uses that knowledge to deliver measurable results.
He is the author of The New Negotiation Mindset: Guarantee A Bigger Slice, and is a longstanding member of NRF as well as ISA, the association of the training industry.
Michael has a B.A. from San Diego State University and completed Master’s level work at Arizona State University. He lives with his family in the Garden State of New Jersey.
